Thunderstorms and rain expected across Maharashtra between December 27-28

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted thunderstorms and rainfall in several regions of Maharashtra between December 27 and 28, 2024. Cloudy weather has already been observed in parts of the state, and the weather is expected to intensify in the coming days.
On December 27, areas in Khandesh (Nashik division), Madhya Maharashtra (Pune division), North Marathwada, and parts of West Vidarbha are likely to experience isolated thunderstorms and rain. By December 28, thunderstorms are predicted to affect Khandesh, northern districts of Marathwada, and some parts of Vidarbha.
The Agriculture Department has issued an advisory to farmers in these regions, urging them to stay informed about the weather conditions and plan their agricultural activities accordingly. Farmers are advised to take necessary precautions to protect their crops from potential damage caused by the predicted rain and thunderstorms.
