Parking woes in Ulhasnagar are set to become a thing of the past, with the Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation (UMC) set to introduce a smart parking app.

This digital solution will allow residents to find and book parking spaces in real-time with just a few taps on their mobile phones.

The smart parking app, which will soon be available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, will provide information on official parking spots, availability of spaces, rates, and additional facilities.

The app will also allow users to book parking spaces in advance, ensuring a hassle-free parking experience.

“This initiative aims to streamline the city’s traffic flow, reduce illegal parking, and enhance convenience for residents,” said Manisha Awhale, commissioner

“With cashless payment options and an easy-to-use interface, the smart parking app is expected to significantly reduce traffic jams, prevent illegal parking, and contribute to a cleaner, safer, and more organized Ulhasnagar,” added Vinod Kene, vehicle manager.
