Villagers and women in Chindhran village have voiced their strong opposition to the proposed new MIDC project and the NAINA (Navi Mumbai Airport Influenced Notified Area) project. The protestors, led by local farmers and community leaders, have made it clear that they will not allow land filling or road works to proceed in the MIDC area until unpaid farmers receive fair compensation and the right price for their land.

Former Sarpanch of Shivkar, Anil Dhavale, President of the Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana, Kiran Kadu, along with Gram Panchayat members Manoj Kumbharkar, Jivan Padekar, Santosh Deshekar, and Suresh Patil, all participated in the protest march. The villagers have demanded that their concerns be addressed before any further developments are carried out in the area.

The villagers have emphasized that the government should address the financial hardships faced by the affected farmers before proceeding with any further work on the MIDC and Naina projects. Activists of the Swabhimani Farmers Association also joined the protest to lend their support to the cause.
