The voting for the 2024 Assembly General Elections in Thane district took place smoothly on November 20, and the district administration is now preparing for the vote counting process. The counting of votes for 18 assembly constituencies in Thane district will be conducted in their respective constituencies, with meticulous planning in place to ensure a smooth process.

Ashok Shingare, the Collector and District Election Returning Officer, confirmed that the vote counting will take place under the guidance of the Election Returning Officer of each constituency. All necessary manpower and preparations have been completed to ensure transparency and efficiency during the counting process.

The counting will be conducted in the presence of security personnel and election officials to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the process. Results are expected to be declared after the completion of counting in each constituency.
