One of Asia’s largest animal adoption camps is making a comeback after three years.

World For All Animal Care and Adoptions (WFA), an animal welfare NGO based in Mumbai, is back with another edition of Asia’s largest animal adoption camp, featuring Indian breed puppies and kittens. After a three-year hiatus, this year’s Adoption Camp promises to be grander, brighter, and better, offering numerous furry friends to meet and greet, alongside a plethora of captivating stalls and attractions, ensuring a fun-filled weekend.

Established in 2009, World For All Animal Care and Adoptions is a registered non-profit organization dedicated solely to assisting needy animals on the streets.

This event is scheduled to take place on the 9th and 10th of December from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at St. Theresa Boys High School quadrangle in Bandra West, Mumbai.

Touted as one of the largest adoption events in Asia, WFA’s Adoptathon will showcase over 200 fully vaccinated, groomed, and healthy Indian breed puppies and kittens available for adoption over the two-day event.

Despite the last three years being affected by Covid, WFA has successfully facilitated over 250 Indian Breed Puppies and Kittens in finding a ‘Forever Home.’ Through this adoption drive, the aim is to have at least over 120 animals adopted. If you have ever considered expanding your four-legged family or starting a new one, now is the perfect opportunity!

In addition to providing a platform for animal lovers to adopt, this year WFA is inviting individuals, NGOs, families, and societies to register their rescued animals (must be dewormed, vaccinated, and between the ages of 2 to 6 months) with WFA for potential adoption.

This pioneering initiative by WFA, a first in the animal welfare and rescue space, will have approximately 70-100 slots available in this year’s Adoptathon, providing rescuers from across the city with the chance to register and ensure these animals find secure, caring homes.

The Adoptathon 2023 has garnered support from numerous public figures including Alia Bhatt, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, Farah Khan, Varun Dhawan, Arunoday Singh, Sophie Choudhary, Zoa Morani, Priyaank Sharma, Amyra Dastur, Rupali Ganguly, Ahana Deol, Priya Dutt, Richa Bahl, Kitu Gidwani, Poonam Mahajan, Anushka Manchanda, Cyrus Broacha, Sherry Shroff, Sapna Bhavnani, Rohan Joshi, and Priyaank Sharma, many of whom will grace the event with their presence.

Animal enthusiasts from across the city can meet these young furry companions and, with WFA’s assistance, ensure a smooth transition for pets from foster care to a forever family home. Adopting families will also receive expert advice from partner veterinarians, behaviorists, adoption counselors, and access to pet products during the event.

Post-adoption, WFA remains committed to assisting new pet parents by maintaining contact and providing necessary animal care and support as needed.

The excitement doesn’t stop there! The event also features a variety of fun stalls for pets and their humans. Throughout the weekend, visitors can indulge in shopping from a wide array of Pet Products including grooming accessories, toys, specialized pet apparel, food, and many other delightful items to take back home.
