Bengaluru: Faridabad’s Arshi Gupta has won the Mini Max title at the 2026 FMSCI RMC India National Karting Championship in Bengaluru, adding a second successive national championship success to her growing motorsport record.

The 10-year-old claimed the title on October 18, a year after winning the Micro Max category. Her latest victory makes her one of the rare drivers to win two successive Rotax MAX Challenge categories in consecutive years.

The broadcaster reported that Arshi had become the world’s youngest driver to win the Rotax MAX Challenge Mini title. It also described her as India’s youngest national karting champion.

Speaking at a press conference in New Delhi on October 19, Arshi discussed her journey in motorsport, her achievements and her ambitions. She expressed happiness at winning the Indian national karting championships in both 2025 and 2026.

The Bengaluru championship was held under the banner of the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India. Arshi’s latest success came in Mini Max, following her championship victory in Micro Max the previous year.

Her achievements extend beyond the two national titles. According to the report, she is the youngest driver globally to have been selected for the F1 Academy Discover Your Drive programme.

Arshi has also received the FIA President’s Medal and recorded podium finishes in the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom.

The Mini Max crown adds another national title to a record that already includes international podium appearances, programme selection and recognition through the FIA President’s Medal.
