Panvel: The J. M. Mhatre Charitable Institution, in association with Deepak Clinical Laboratory, has organised a nine-day free thyroid (TSH) screening camp for women from October 11 to 19 under the BJP’s ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026’.

The initiative has been organised under the guidance of institution founder J. M. Mhatre and the leadership of BJP leader and institution president Pritam Janardan Mhatre. Mamta Pritam Mhatre, chairperson of the Panvel Municipal Corporation’s Women and Child Welfare Committee, is overseeing the arrangements.

The initiative aims to raise awareness about thyroid-related disorders and encourage early diagnosis. Women can undergo screening between 9 am and 6 pm at Arogya Sevalaya, Deepak Clinical Laboratory, Vastu Shree CHS, Plot No. 50/6, opposite Maharashtra Bhushan Dr Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari Sub-District Hospital, Panvel.

Pritam Mhatre urged women to take advantage of the facility, emphasising that women’s health is essential for healthy families and a stronger society.
