Actor Katrina Kaif has spoken out against online trolling and body-shaming following criticism of her post-pregnancy appearance, urging people not to let social media dictate their self-worth. Speaking at a London event for her beauty brand Kay Beauty, Katrina said constantly trying to meet others’ expectations could undermine confidence and personal freedom. “If every time that I faced critiques or comments, I let that dictate my actions, I think I would have been paralysed with fear and unable to move ahead in my life,” she said, adding that people must sometimes become their own biggest cheerleaders.
Katrina, who welcomed her son with husband Vicky Kaushal in November 2025, faced comments about her weight after attending the Ambani family’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in Mumbai. She reiterated her brand’s message of self-acceptance, encouraging people to embrace themselves through life’s changing phases.
