Actor Kriti Sanon used Daughter’s Day to highlight the everyday safety concerns faced by women and urged people to reflect on their experiences. In a social media post, Kriti spoke about situations many women encounter, including sharing live locations, staying on calls while travelling and taking precautions while returning home alone. She asked people to imagine a daughter calling in fear after feeling followed or worrying about reaching home safely at night. Kriti said such precautions have become a routine part of women’s lives and expressed hope for a future where women can move freely without fear.
