Nerul: Poetica 9.0, the international literary festival organised by the Rotaract Club of Smart City Navi Mumbai, concluded successfully after bringing together poets, writers and literature enthusiasts from across the world through a two-phase celebration of poetry and storytelling.

The festival began with an online poetry competition on May 30, attracting over 35 participants from different countries. Conducted through Zoom and streamed live on YouTube, the virtual event provided a platform for both emerging and established poets to showcase original works exploring themes ranging from love and hope to social issues and personal experiences.

The literary celebrations culminated on May 31 with Poetica Live: Kavyasammelan at Nerul Gymkhana Arena 01, where guest poets and budding performers shared the stage before an enthusiastic audience.

Seven invited poets, along with several emerging voices, delivered performances featuring emotional narratives, reflective verses and humour-filled recitations, creating an engaging atmosphere for poetry lovers.

The festival also witnessed the announcement of the online competition winners, with the winning participant receiving an opportunity to perform live before the audience.

Organisers said between 75 and 100 attendees participated in the live event, transforming the gathering into an interactive celebration rather than merely a literary programme.

Through Poetica 9.0, organisers aimed to encourage creative expression, nurture emerging talent and promote literature as a medium for cultural exchange and meaningful human connection.
