“The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore,” Psalm 121:8

The Maharashtra State Board institutions of the Ryan Group in Navi Mumbai, St. Lawrence High School, Vashi, and St. Augustine's High School, Nerul, marked the reopening of the new academic year with special assemblies that reflected faith, gratitude, achievement, and hope. Both schools welcomed students back to campus with programmes designed to inspire, motivate, and set a positive tone for the year ahead.

At St. Lawrence High School, Vashi, the prayerful atmosphere created a meaningful beginning for students and staff alike. A special highlight of the opening day assembly was the felicitation of the SSC toppers and their parents for their outstanding achievements in the recently held Board exams for the academic year 2025-26. The toppers were later interviewed and shared their study habits, preparation strategies, and experiences that contributed to their success, offering valuable guidance to their peers.

Pastor Sonu Bhandari blessed and guided the students with encouraging words. The school also extended a warm welcome through speeches in English, Hindi, and Marathi, reflecting its inclusive ethos. Students from the Primary section enjoyed an engaging puppet show, while all students participated enthusiastically in a riddle round. A value-based skit performed by the teachers emphasised the importance of joy in everyday life and learning. In her address to the gathering, Headmistress Saira Kennedy expressed optimism for the year ahead, stating that the institute looks forward to a wonderful academic year and extends its best wishes to all students for success, happiness, and God's abundant blessings.

St. Augustine's High School, Nerul, also welcomed the Secondary Section for the academic year 2026–27 with a vibrant special assembly which involved prayer sessions organised by the secondary school teachers. Multilingual welcome speeches added warmth and a sense of unity to the occasion.

The felicitation of the Overall and Subject Toppers of the SSC Maharashtra Board Examination formed the focal point of the event. Their achievements were celebrated with pride, and their success stories inspired the students to remain disciplined, committed, and goal-oriented. Students also shared their summer vacation experiences, adding cheer to the gathering. Headmistress Mrs. Sameera Mane welcomed the students and encouraged them to make the most of the opportunities in the year ahead.

Both assemblies reflected the strong values and academic spirit of the Ryan Group of Schools. Rooted in faith and guided by excellence, the schools look forward to a productive academic year marked by learning, growth, and success under God's constant care.
