Kalyan: Students of Gandharva Gurukul’s Kathak dance class in Titwala have achieved notable success at the recently held ‘Nrityadhara’ National Classical Dance Competition at Acharya Atre Rangmandir in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune.
All four of the Gurukul's performances received recognition at the national-level event. In the Sub-Junior Solo category, Kshitija Shelke secured first place, while Ira Kavar won second place. In the Junior Solo category, Anaya Bajpai bagged the first prize.
The Gurukul’s students also secured second place in the Junior Group Dance category. The group comprised Avisha Jain, Smaranika Patil, Prisha Dixit, Anvi Khismatrao, Arya Panzade, Swara Joshi and Bhargavi Pawar.
The students’ success was attributed to the creative choreography, dedicated training and guidance of dance teacher Komal Nagavkar, along with disciplined practice and strong stage performances.
