Ulhasnagar: In a commendable display of civic responsibility, around 40 youth volunteers participated in a large-scale cleanliness drive at Hill Line Police Station in Ulhasnagar, removing nearly 500 kilograms of accumulated waste and debris from the premises.

The police station in Camp No. 5 organized the sanitation campaign with the permission and support of Deputy Commissioner of Police Sachin Gore and Senior Police Inspector Sandeep Shivle. Volunteers from the World Mission Society Church of God worked together to clear dry leaves, discarded materials, and litter from across the station grounds.

The organization conducts environmental conservation and social service activities worldwide under the motto, “We Are One Family.” Through this initiative, the volunteers highlighted the importance of keeping public spaces clean and encouraged citizens to contribute actively to community welfare.

The organizers emphasized that keeping public places clean is a shared responsibility and should not be left solely to government authorities or civic bodies. The collective effort not only improved the cleanliness of the police station premises but also demonstrated the positive impact of community participation.

The drive serves as an inspiring example of how youth-led initiatives can promote environmental awareness, civic engagement, and a cleaner, healthier society.
