Ulwe: Passengers travelling through Navi Mumbai International Airport with Air India can now shop for duty-free products online before reaching the airport, following a new initiative launched by Air India and Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL).

The integrated online duty-free shopping platform allows eligible international travellers to browse products, place pre-orders and make digital payments through the Air India website and mobile application before their journey. The purchased items can be collected from designated duty-free counters at the airport.

The digital catalogue includes a wide range of products such as cosmetics, fragrances, chocolates, confectionery, electronics and luxury beverages. During the initial phase, passengers can avail discounts of up to 25 per cent on standard retail prices, along with applicable bank and seasonal offers.

Air India Maharaja Club members will also earn three Maharaja Points for every ₹100 spent on eligible duty-free purchases, providing additional loyalty benefits.

The facility is currently available for eligible passengers travelling to and from seven airports — Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Mangaluru, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram. Passengers travelling on Air India Express flights and select codeshare routes can also use the service.

Air India and AAHL plan to expand the online duty-free shopping facility to more domestic and international airports in the coming months, aiming to provide travellers with a more seamless airport shopping experience.
