Kopar Khairane: Eighteen children with multiple disabilities, along with their parents, special educators and support staff, participated in a cleanliness drive organised by Sahayogini Palak Sanstha, Navi Mumbai, as part of the Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 campaign.

The one-day initiative, supported by ONGC, was conducted around the organisation’s Kopar Khairane Centre in Sector 1, 2 and 4, including the nearby garden area. The drive focused on promoting cleanliness, hygiene, environmental awareness and inclusive participation in community activities.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of Suresh L. Naik, President, and Manoj Kumar Mahto, Project Manager. Special educators, staff members and parents also joined the children in the cleanliness activity.

The participation of children with multiple disabilities highlighted the importance of creating inclusive communities where everyone gets an opportunity to contribute towards social and environmental causes.

Sahayogini Palak Sanstha thanked ONGC for its support and encouragement in promoting community-based initiatives aimed at cleanliness and inclusion. The organisation said such activities help build awareness about environmental responsibility while empowering children with disabilities to actively participate in society.
