TET paper leak case: Police custody of two accused extended by five days

Bhiwandi: The police custody of two accused, identified as Prakash Misal from Beed and Ashokkumar Babulal Shah from Delhi, in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) paper leak case has been extended by five days.
Both accused, who had been absconding, were arrested on September 20 and produced before the court. They were initially remanded to police custody until September 23. When they were produced before the court again on September 23, the investigating officer sought an extension, stating that a list of examination candidates had been recovered from the accused and that further verification was required.
The court subsequently extended their police custody by five days. So far, 18 accused have been arrested in the case, while a 3,500-page charge sheet has been filed before the Bhiwandi Additional Sessions Court.
