TET paper leak: Two in police custody

Bhiwandi: The two accused arrested in the TET paper leak case—Prakash Misal of Beed and Ashok Kumar Shaw of Delhi—were produced before a court on September 29. The court extended their police custody till October 1.
Both accused were arrested on September 20 and were initially remanded in police custody for three days, followed by another five-day extension. Their custody has now been extended for the third time to facilitate further investigation.
During the probe, police reportedly recovered a list containing names of 18 TET examinees from Misal. Investigators are also questioning the circumstances surrounding a meeting between Misal and arrested accused Kapil Dahiya at a hotel in Pune.
The police are investigating whether the accused had any financial dealings with other individuals and whether more people were involved in the alleged paper leak. Officials said further details are expected to emerge as the investigation progresses.
