‘Shri Narasimha Avatar’ tableau attracts devotees in Panvel

Panvel: The Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav organised by the Madan Koli family in Panvel, which has been preserving the tradition and cultural legacy of public Ganesh celebrations for 65 years, has once again combined devotion with artistic expression.
Known for its distinctive and elaborate tableaux each year, the Koli family has created a ‘Shri Narasimha Avatar’ tableau this year, which has emerged as a major attraction for devotees.
The Ganesh idol, which draws thousands of devotees, has been decorated by Shree Sai Arts, Kalyan, Ramesh Jadhav and Ganesh Jadhav.
The backdrop painting has been created by Ramesh Dukre, while Adv Prathamesh Soman and Atharva Godbole have undertaken the narration and presentation.
The elaborate lighting, which adds to the grandeur of the tableau, has been designed by Janardan Keni and Suraj Bhoir of New Panvel.
The tableau brings together devotion and artistic presentation to portray the story of Lord Narasimha. It has attracted a large number of devotees from Panvel and neighbouring areas, who are visiting the display during the festival.
